Zouk’s recent funding round was led by Bengaluru-based venture capital business Stellaris Venture Partners, ET Bureau reported. Other investors included the founders of skincare business, Wow Skin Science, and existing investor, Titan Capital.

“In Stellaris, we have found the right partner, who can guide us to become an iconic brand in the coming years,” said Zouk’s co-founder and chief executive, Disha Singh, the Economic Times reported. “We are excited that Stellaris partner Rahul Chowdhri will join our board. His vast experience of guiding multiple companies...will be a big plus for us.”

Earlier in the year, Zouk raised funds from Titan Capital and the founders of personal care brands Mamaearth and Beardo. Zouk plans to use its new fund injection to strengthen its supply chain and distribution channels in order to enable it to expand both in India and internationally. The brand will also invest in expanding its product offerings.

Zouk retails a range of handbags, laptop bags, tote bags, and pouches made using PETA-approved vegan leather, according to the brand’s Facebook page. The brand was founded by Disha Singh and Pradeep Krishnakumar and works with local artisans in Mumbai.
