Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli served up an enormous 97-look strong collection for Pre-Fall 2015 featuring the Italian house's trademark romanticism and eye for details.

This season's Valentino girl was all about escapism, with a wide range of shapes and decorative touches inspired by the bohemian spirit and aesthetic patchwork of women like Celia Birtwell, Gloria Vanderbilt, and Giosetta Fioroni.

The romantic notions came thick and fast: the brand worked with esteemed British printmaker Birtwell on the prints, intarsia, and embellishments, which were inspired by Botticelli’s Primavera. The designers also served up red heart motifs designed by Italian artist Giosetta Fioroni.

The shapes stuck to classic, sleek, very Valentino silhouettes, with the finishes and decoration including florals, studded versions of the brand's old V logo from 1968, retro pop color blocking, mirror embellishment, camouflage print, brocaded butterflies and denim.
