VOI Jeans, which operates in India as a joint venture between VOI Jeans UK and VOI Jeans India, aims to expand significantly in India in the coming three years. The brand will invest Rs 20 crore over the course of the next two years to open 20 stores across India. The stores will join the brand’s current total of 18 exclusive brand outlets, over 100 shop-in-shops, and its e-commerce presence.

"Currently, VOI Jeans India has a 50-crore retail sale and it looks at hitting the 100-crore mark by 2021,” VOI Jeans India’s CEO Vimal Kumar Kamnani said in a statement, as reported by ET Retail. “The brand’s strategy for achieving the same consists of expanding its presence in Tier 2 towns across the country."

The brand currently operates in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vizag, Vijayawada, Pune, Delhi, Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Kolkata. Seeking out locations in Tier 2 cities for it’s next round of growth will allow the brand to tap into the increasing demand for branded fashion in non-metro locations.

VOI Jeans has a global retail presence in countries including Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, and Austria. The business retails denim as well as outerwear, accessories, and footwear. The brand has reported that its global revenue is around $2 billion.
