V2 Retail continues to close non-performing stores
India’s leading value fashion retailer V2 Retail has announced the closing of one more non-performing store at Udupi in the state of Karnataka.
Last month, the company had closed its stores located at Chapra, Bihar and Kota, Rajasthan while it added one store at Rourkela in the state of Odisha.
“In line with company’s strategy to evaluate performance over various parameters including store wise profitability, the Company has closed its stores,” V2 Retail said in a statement.
Despite the disruptions caused by the second wave of Covid-19, V2 Retail is confident that its growth and profitability will continue to accelerate on the back of sustained focus on customer experience, merchandise selection, strong brand recall, and omnichannel presence.
V2 Retail was launched in 2001 and retails womenswear, menswear, and children’s wear. It currently has 93 operational stores across India.
