V-Mart partners with Dentsu Impact to boost fashion division
The value retail chain V-Mart has appointed Dentsu Impact as its planning and creative agency partner for V-Mart Fashion as the business looks to boost its marketing strategy in India and focus on fashion.
V-Mart, which retails a range of lifestyle goods, aims to shine the spotlight on its fashion division through its new partnership with DAN’s creative arm Dentsu Impact. The creative agency will form a marketing strategy for V-Mart Fashion.
As Dentsu Impact works on the brand’s marketing, V-Mart plans to open 60 stores during the current financial year, the business announced at the start of the month. The business has earmarked an investment of Rs 115 crore ($16.1 million) for the expansion.
“Partnering with V-Mart, which has a strong presence in Tier 2, 3, and 4 markets with over 230 stores across 178 cities, will give us an opportunity to reach out to the aspiring middle class,” Dentsu Impact’s president, Amit Wadhwa, said in a statement, as reported by Branding In Asia. “It is going to be an exciting partnership for us, and we are looking forward to create some great work together.”
“A key part of the appointment was finding a partner that understands our brand strategy, values, and business goals,” said Lalit Agarwal, V-Mart Retail’s CMD. “We are excited to have found the right combination of business and consumer understanding and competencies in Dentsu Impact and delighted to appoint them as our creative agency partner.”
