Ustraa foresees Rs 130 crore revenue in FY23

Ustraa has predicted a revenue total of Rs 130 crore by the end of the 2023 financial year. The men’s personal care and grooming brand is expanding swiftly with an omni-channel approach.

“While we are very cautious, we’re very optimistic about 2023,” Ustraa’s co-founder Rajat Tuli told ET Retail in an interview. “We are big spenders on advertising, majorly on Facebook and YouTube, where we spend 25-30% of our topline… We want to grow 100% year-on-year for the next two years.”
 
In the 2022 financial year, Ustraa reported a revenue total of Rs 65 crore. The business raised Rs 7.5 crore in funding from Startup Investments, a subsidiary Info Edge, as well as a total of Rs 9.3 crore from IIFL Seed Ventures Fund- II and Wipro Enterprises. In the coming months, Ustraa plans to raise up to $10 million to bolster both its marketing and employee base. 

Ustraa products are available on 47 e-commerce marketplaces, a significant increase from the 5 platforms it was present on before the beginning of the pandemic. Ustraa is also embracing an omni-channel strategy for its next phase of expansion. Currently present in over 10,000 stores across India, the brand aims to take this offline total to 50,000 stores.
