US-based haircare brand K18 will launch in the Indian market with a dedicated e-commerce store this month in partnership with holding company Mk Exim India Limited.

Haircare products by K18 - K18

K18 will launch in India with in-salon and home-use products including a professional leave-in hair mist, mask treatment, and a leave-in molecular repair hair mask, the brand announced in a press release on February 7. K18 will retail its range of products designed to restore damaged hair in four minutes using its signature ‘K18Peptide™’ through a dedicated India website from February 18 and has already launched its salon-use products in salons in numerous locations.

“We are truly excited to bring K18 to the Indian market,” said the brand’s co-founder Suveen Sahib in a press release. “The brand is excited to reach a new audience through this expansion in India, educating consumers about why the science behind hair not only has a place in their self-care routine but is ushering in the next era of hair health. We believe hair is everything. Our biotech treatment allows for a new freedom of expression that comes with having healthy hair- and we believe all hair types and all people should be able to access that true renewal. If you love hair, you’re our person, end of story.”

“We have tested K18 extensively in all the top salons across India and the response has been phenomenal,” said Mk Exim India Limited’s managing director Manish Dialani. “K18 is a disruptive, results-driven brand that is focused on solving hair damage for clients of all hair types and textures, and we are so excited to introduce them to our hair community in India.”

Tech industry specialist Suveen Sahib and beauty industry specialist Britta Cox launched K18 in 2020. The brand already retails in the US and Europe and has a presence in 20,000 salons in over 100 countries. K18’s stylist ambassadors include Yusef Williams, Priscilla Valles, Linh Phan, Aura Friedman, and Eric Vaughn.
