Uru opens first Navi Mumbai multi-designer store

Designer Priyanka Prasann has opened Navi Mumbai’s first multi-designer store called Uru located at the Palm Beach Road.
 

The new store is spread over an area of 500 square feet and will house apparel, home décor, furnishings, accessories and more sourced directly from runway designers, artists, and craftspeople from across the country.
 
With Mumbai being flooded with a host of multi-brand and designer outlets, brands are now turning their focus to other cities in Maharashtra.

Uru hopes that its early entry in the Navi Mumbai market will help it gain a larger market share and tap the growth potential in this tier 2 city.
 
Commenting on its first store launch, Priyanka Prasann, owner of Uru in a statement said: “At Uru, our showcase is dedicated to creating versatile visual designs and presenting sustainable, up-cycled and eco clothing and accessories. We want to ensure that our patrons in Navi Mumbai have access to a go-to store for luxury offerings that are affordable, on-trend and high quality.
 
“We are driven towards creating a wholesome, memorable shopping extravaganza that will make everyone come back for more,” Priyanka added.
 
Uru has been conceptualised by Priyanka Prasann, a designer from NIFT who also owns Plushpalette, a sustainable fashion label. Uru also sells its products through its website to cater to its customer base outside Navi Mumbai.
