Urbano launches dedicated e-commerce store
Clothing brand Urbano Fashion has launched a dedicated e-commerce store to retail its range of men’s, women’s, and children’s casual wear and accessories.
The brand’s new e-commerce store recently launched with a selection of t-shirts, denim, separates, and outerwear, it announced on Facebook. Urbano already retailed online through multi-brand e-commerce platforms, including Myntra and Amazon India, and its new online store aims to expand the brand’s online presence and boost online sales.
Urbano recently expanded into the plus size segment with Urbano Plus, which features designs tailored to larger sizes.
“Our focus is always on offering fresh styles that few other brands are able to offer, while maintaining consistency in quality,” said Urbano’s director of finance and sourcing Naheed Muqeetulla in a press release.
“This has been our greatest USP that delights our customers and keeps them coming back to us.”
The brand reported sales of over 3.5 lakh units over the past two months, which included the festive sale season. Recent year-on-year growth has been at 40%, despite the challenges of Covid-19, according to Urbano.
Urbano Fashion is run by parent company Imperial Online Services Private Limited. The brand has catered to 2.5 million customers in the past four years, according to its press release. The brand launched in 2016 with a range of men’s casual wear and went on to expand its product offerings to cater to women and children.
