Urban Yog steps into dry shampoo

Beauty and personal care brand Urban Yog has expanded its product selection and launched its first dry shampoo in stores and online. 

The new Urban Yog Dry Shampoo comes in a spray bottle and is designed to remove oil and dirt from the hair while refreshing the hair in between washes, according to its website. The launch is designed to engage modern women on the go and help the brand reach millennial and Gen Z shoppers. 
 
“I wanted to bring a product which works like a shampoo but needs no water or time to ease the life of today’s women,” said Urban Yog’s founder Hemant Raulo, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “All you need to do is, spray it through your hair strands and brush them. The best part is that Urban Yog Dry Shampoo is benzene-free and is absolutely safe for hair.”

Urban Yog’s product categories currently span haircare, menstrual care, and skincare and the brand is continuing to expand its offering. The brand, run by Global Bees, specialises in products which are made from natural ingredients as well as paraben free and cruelty free. 
 
“A few sprays of it will make you look good and feel good,” said Raulo about the new launch. “Many Indian women aren’t aware of the perks that dry shampoo brings with it. It is like make-up for your hair. Looking into the mirror, you will be able to witness the difference instantly and once you do, it will become a part of your lifestyle. This dry shampoo is not just a product; it is a habit that you would not want to give up on.”
