Upakarma Ayurveda expands portfolio, enters beauty segment with new launches

Ayurvedic brand Upakarma Ayurveda has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a host of new beauty products that include night serum, onion hair oil, onion shampoo, and Vitamin C face serum.

Upakarma Ayurveda’s newly launched products are currently available in cities such as Delhi, Ambala, Pune, Mandi, and Jalandhar, among others.
 
The company has priced its products between Rs 699 ($9) and Rs 1199. It expects its affordable pricing coupled with natural offering to help it gain a significant share in the USD 6.5 billion beauty market in India.

Commenting on the launch, Vishal Kaushik, co-founder and managing director of Upakarma Ayurveda, in a statement said: “People have become more conscious around their daily beauty regime. They now consider not just good packaging but also usage of harmless natural ingredients as qualifying features before making the purchase. To ensure this, we carried out extensive R&D and brainstorming sessions with top industry experts on the formulations and evaluation of the products that we bring to the market.
 
“At Upakarma Ayurveda, we believe in restoring balance and quality to life through our amazing range of all-natural and ayurvedic products. We will continue to create and bring more such products to our consumers and ensure that they lead a healthy and balanced life”, he added.
 
The newly launched products will soon be available at Upakarma Ayurveda’s official website and e-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa and across its strong offline network with over 10,000 stores across India.
