The brand will be in opening its store at the Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj. The Ambience Mall store will occupy 35,000 square feet of space over three floors and showcase the full range of Uniqlo Lifewear.

As part of its marketing strategy to announce the brand’s arrival in the city, Uniqlo has executed cube-like installations across various touch-points in Delhi.

The installations are made of the brand’s iconic red cubes which have been integrated with Indian elements such as cricket balls, kites, and red bangles.

Commenting on the announcement, Tomohiko Sei, chief executive officer at Uniqlo India in a statement said, “We are very excited to announce the opening date today. We look forward to formally opening our doors to the Indian customers and offering Uniqlo's high quality, highly functional apparel that we call Lifewear starting from Delhi at Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj.”

Uniqlo had recently collaborated with Delhi-based designer Rina Singh for a special ‘Kurta’ collection as part of Uniqlo’s 2019 fall/winter offering.

Uniqlo will be adding two more stores later this year at DLF Place Saket, and DLF CyberHub in the city Gurugram.
