Umangse Fashion Exhibition to promote brands in Kolkata this February

From February 15 to 16, Umangse Fashion and Lifestyle Exhibition will showcase and promote a range of traditional wear and independent brands at the Utsav Marriage and Ceremonial House in Kolkata.

 
This February, the Umangse business-to-customer shopping exhibition will return to Kolkata for a spring/ summer edition, the event announced on Facebook. The exhibition will feature product categories including women’s traditional and occasion wear for the spring wedding season, casual wear, accessories, jewellery, gift items, and other lifestyle goods.
 
The event will focus on smaller, local brands to give them an opportunity to grow their customer base in and around Kolkata. The majority of brands will be in the mid-range of the market and the event’s target audience is female shoppers. 

The fair is organised by events management business Umangse which launched in September 2018. The business has held a number of fashion fairs in Kolkata over the past year and a half including a festive edition of Umangse in September, 2019. 
 
Kolkata is hosting an increasing number of fashion and shopping events as brands use the format to expand their customer bases. Other upcoming fairs in the metro this spring/ summer season include The Haat, The Weaves, and the Navya Fashion Exhibition among others.
