Topman, the Arcadia-owned menswear retailer, is targeting denimheads this summer with a new collaboration with Japanese denim mill Kurabo.

Osaka-based Kurabo Mills, which was founded more than 100 years ago, is one of the oldest denim mills in Japan. For the Topman collection, it has created three pieces in selvedge denim - a dark indigo denim jacket and two pairs of jeans.

The pieces were made using Kurabo's unique methods and Topman's in-house designs and will be available on 4 June.

It’s not the first time that the brand has come out with a denim collection. In 2013, it called upon the designers Oliver Spencer, Lou Dalton, Katie Eary, Shaun Samson and Mark McNairy to revisit the denim jacket.

Both Topman and its sister retailer Topshop belong to the British group Arcadia.
