UK's House of Fraser names new Chief Information Officer

British department store retailer House of Fraser has announced Uday Kotla as its new chief information officer, effective on April 20.

Kotla, who was previously global head of technology consulting at Infosys Digital, has over 20 years' experience in digital enterprise platforms, which includes managing enterprise architecture, IT strategy and digital initiatives for companies such as Walmart, Adidas and Tesco.

He will join House of Fraser's executive committee reporting to CEO Nigel Oddy together with a reporting line to Sanpower Group CIO, Peter Wang.

Nigel Oddy commented: "We are delighted to announce Uday’s appointment today. His appointment, which brings a wealth of experience, recognises the need to ensure our strategy and development are enhanced by the technology available across our increasing multi-channel and multi-territory business."
