The clothing brand Turn Black has collaborated with the band Peter Cat Recording Co to create an exclusive menswear capsule collection to capture the spirit of the musicians’ personalities.

To celebrate the band Peter Cat Recording Co’s eighth birthday and the launch of their latest album Bismillah, Turn Black has created a capsule collection with the group’s members Karan Singh, Kartik Pillai, Dhruv Bhola, Suryakant Sawhney, and Rohit Gupta. The collection also sees Turn Black expand its menswear product range, which it launched only last year, a month after the brand’s inception in March, 2018.

On June 11, the brand posted on its social media that the collection reflects the different styles and personalities of each member of the band. So far, Turn Black has posted teasers of the collection on its social media, which is slated to launch on its e-commerce store soon.

Turn Black also recently launched its spring/summer womenswear collection 'Rediscovery', inspired by psychologist Carl Jung’s archetype of the “self” and the human search for self. The collection features loose-fit jumpsuits, overalls, and dresses, as well as a saree, all in black.

Nutan Dayal, Robin Chanda, and Amit Singh Chauhan launched Turn Black as an all-black clothing brand. The three designers aim to break down certain Indian stereotypes about wearing black, as well as promote sustainable fashion. The brand currently retails from its e-commerce site.
