Tumi launches Diwali capsule collection

Tumi has launched a capsule collection for the Diwali festivities featuring a range of backpacks and suitcases. The luggage brand has also launched a competition in collaboration with The Postcard Hotel’s Bhutan resort.

“This festive season Tumi presents a curated assortment of gifts for your loved ones, made with exceptional quality and high performance styles that will last a lifetime,” the brand announced in a press release. “A thoughtful selection by Tumi on the occasion of Diwali comprises styles that are entirely based on modularity, sustainability, and durability for every personal need that complements a non-stop festive lifestyle.”
 
The capsule line features designs including the ‘Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack’, ‘Alpha Slim Backpack’, and ‘Voyageur Harper Backpack’, all made with materials including ballistic nylon. With a streamlined, utilitarian design, the backpacks are designed for commuting and travel. The brand emphasises the ‘built-to-last’ construction of the bags as part of its sustainable offering. 

Luggage in the exclusive collection includes the ‘Voyageur Oxford Compact Carry-on’ and ‘Tegra Lite Extended Trip Expandable 4 Wheeled Packing Case’, designed for festive travel. The brand has partnered with hotel chain The Postcard Hotel to offer shoppers spending over Rs 2 lakh in-store or online the chance to enter a giveaway for a one-night stay at The Postcard Dewa boutique hotel in Thimphu, Bhutan.
 
Tumi retails in India through its stores in Mumbai and New Delhi. The brand launched in 1975 and has a retail presence in 75 countries with around 2,000 points of sale.
