Trusox will be entering the Indian market by launching its website and also be selling on e-commerce platform Amazon.

The company expects India to contribute around 20 percent to its overall sales over the next two years and will also be exploring partnerships with e-commerce firms and sports retail stores.

Commenting on the association, Sanil Sachar, co-owner of Trusox in a statement said: “Rohit is an ambassador for Trusox purely because he stands for being a true athlete that can take charge of any situation and lead the team. The technology is as proprietary as it can get. So much so, that internally we don’t even associate to these as socks.”

Rohit Sharma added: “Technology is something that I always look forward to, especially when it enhances your performance on the field. Trusox has been an essential part of my kit as it helps boost my performance,"

Trusox is a premium sports socks brand founded by former U.S. soccer player James Cherneski and currently sells at about 1,000 stores globally. The company claims that over 45 percent of the English Premier League footballers use the brand.
