Priyanka Kapur and Shloka Agarwal hosted the Trunk Show Festive Edit business to customer shopping exhibition in Mumbai on October 16 to showcase for Indian labels to the city’s shoppers. Arpita Mehta brought her latest autumn/ winter collection “Trentradition” to the event with an array of festive occasion wear and bridal wear designs. The collection features sarees, lehengas, and gowns in hues of bright yellow and coral with floral prints and embroidery. Classic lehengas are paired with modern, bra-like tops to create a youthful and fusion aesthetic.
The exotic skin brand Ahikoza showcased a range of handbags at the pop-up shop. The brand, which has also collaborated with Arpita Mehta this season on a range of brightly coloured handbags, retailed a selection of its clutch and evening bags designed for the festive season.
Jewellery brand Outhouse also showcased a large number of bridal options at the event designed for the “resort bride”, the brand posted on Facebook. Outhouse’s latest collection features pearls, Swarovski crystals, ivory-hued floral designs, and shells to add a holiday feel to traditional bridal opulence.
Womenswear brand Starch showcased a selection of white shirts and feminine western wear at the pop-up. The brand’s romantic collection featured fringing and long skirts and was inspired by 19th century English playwright Maria Lovell.
