Tribe by Amrapali has opened its two stores each in Kolkata and Delhi and one in Mumbai to customers, the brand announced on Facebook. The brand is also in the process of, “finalising on a sanitisation machine which will clean all pieces, every single time they are tried,” in order to allow customers to try on jewellery (currently prohibited), Tribe Amrapali’s co-founder Akanksha Arora told the Telegraph India.

“While the standard prerequisites before entering the store include wearing a mask, having the Arogya Setu app on your phone and so on, the protocols inside the store are tightly outlined by allowing only two customers to shop at a time,” said Arora. “We are also treating the health of our store staff as a priority and ensuring they are secured with modes such as digital payment and allowance of lesser people in the store to ensure quality care extended.”

The brand’s dedicated e-commerce store is now delivering all pre-paid orders across India except for in containment zones, it announced on its website. As well as restarting business, Tribe Amrapali has launched a number of new collections in-stores and online.

The brand recently launched its ‘Rupali’ collection which mixes gold and silver to create bold statement pieces. Tribe Amrapali also recently launched its ‘Amara’ collection featuring gold plated silver jewellery inspired by the ocean and a ‘Father’s Day’ collection of cuff links.
