Tory Burch opens on Regent Street

Tory Burch has become the latest big international name to endorse London’s Regent Street as the key London shopping street for flagship stores.

The new Tory Burch Regent Street flagship has an opulent interior

Just a day after H&M announced plans to unveil another of its brand new chains on the street, Burch has opened its London flagship number 233, not far from the planned site for the new Arket brand and also close to Coach’s recently-opened London flagship.

The 3,200 sq ft store is on the corner of Maddox Street, almost opposite the Liberty luxury department store.

It covers two floors of a historic building and offers the full Tory Burch range of ready-to-wear, with footwear, accessories, beauty and homewares. It also carries an exclusive Jacqueline frame bag in a choice of three finishes.

The interior features oak-panelled walls and travertine flooring as well as a video screen, cane tables, a leopard rug, a Moroccan mother-of-pearl-inlaid armoire, banquettes covered in fabrics to reflect a sunshine lifestyle and a gold leaf chandelier designed to mix raw and refined design concepts.

Tory Burch is offering exclusives in its new store

The company’s other London locations are its original UK store around the corner on New Bond Street and the still-new boutique in Westfield’s White City mall, which opened last year. It also has a Bicester Village outlet store.

Regent Street has become a magnet for global brand flagships in recent years and within a couple of minutes of the new Tory Burch store there are major locations for J Crew, Michael Kors, Longchamp, Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld, Gap, Lululemon, Cos, Guess, Zara, Levi’s and Burberry.
