Torani’s new Rakhi line is designed to render the brand’s nostalgic, vintage inspired aesthetic as gifts for the upcoming festival, the brand announced on Facebook. The Rakhis have launched on Torani’s dedicated e-commerce store with international shipping.

“A symbolic extension of our label’s craft and identity- we wanted to design handcrafted rakhis that become a token of memory, love and the timeless bond siblings share in our nation,” Torani wrote on Facebook, launching the line. “Discover and shop signature Torani Rakhis with hand embroidered mirror warq, ghunghroos, brass coins and layers of tassels.”

Other Rakhis in the line feature signature Torani sikkas, zardozi embroidery, and sindhi mirrored thread work, according to the brand. The festival of Raksha Bandhan, which celebrates the bond between siblings, will fall on August 11 this year.

Torani also recently held a Stock Clearance event at its flagship store in Khan Market, New Delhi. The event was designed to make way for the brand’s upcoming autumn/ winter 2022 collection, which will launch in time for the autumn wedding season.
