Women’s retailer & Other Stories has announced its first collaboration of 2017, this time setting philanthropic footwear brand Toms in its sights.

The collection will reinterpret Toms classic silhouettes, like the slip-on canvas shoe, using the West Coast and Venice Beach as inspiration. But the collection won’t just be limited to shoe styles – Toms will be creating its first-ever clothing collection with the help of & Other Stories.

The Swedish label, and little-sister brand of H&M, has always favoured boundary-pushing creators & artists as collaborators rather than other big-name brands. Previously, the retailer has brought in editorial stylist Ada Kokosar, to risqué leather artisan Zana Bayne, to the Mulleavy sisters (the minds behind Rodarte) for limited-edition capsules. Prior to Toms, the retailer tapped footwear brand Vans for an art-inspired capsule collection early in 2016.

Erin Wasson, model-turned-jewelry designer, will front the collaboration’s campaign, shot by photographer/stylist Natalie Joos. The collection will range from $64--$98 - with dresses sitting around the $80-$90 mark and shoes at around $64.
