Kerala native Eapen will present a range of floral printed kurtas in Chennai’s Kotturpuram district to give the city’s shoppers the chance to browse her line in person, the brand announced in a press release. Clothing in the collection is priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 10,000 and both formal and day-wear styles are available.

The ‘Step into Spring’ collection features a mix of textiles sourced from traditional artisans across India as well as weaving and printing from Bhagalpur, Chanderi, Jaipur, and Kalahasthi. Tina Eapen has a long history of working with indigenous artisans and aims to use her designs to uplift traditional Indian crafts.

“Tina's passion lies at working from the grass-root level and she enjoys employing the aid of artisans and weavers from remote areas,” announced the brand in a press release. “Much time and effort goes into mixing her fabrics- ensuring the weave is perfect, the colours one-of-a-kind. Often, she combines different yarns to make unique blends. Always experimenting, she ensures that not a single piece of clothing is dull or commonplace.”
