Timex signs actor Sidharth Malhotra for ‘We Don’t Stop’ campaign
Watchmaker Timex has signed Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra for its ‘We Don’t Stop’ campaign in India. The campaign will be launched through a brand film featuring the actor and global influencers.
With this new campaign, Timex aims to convey a message of hope and resiliency, amid the Covid-19 disruptions.
Commenting on the campaign, Tobias Reiss-Schmidt, president and CEO of Timex Group, in a statement said: “The campaign speaks to the resilience that we are all surrounded by – stories of grit, perseverance, ingenuity and heart – stories that strengthen us to carry on. We Don’t Stop champions our everyday heroes and everything we have stood for over the past 167 years, without losing a step as we continue forward.”
Commenting on his association with the brad, Sidharth Malhotra said: “I am glad to associate with Timex for this inspiring campaign - We Don’t Stop. It’s so authentic and truly celebrates the pride and determination that people across the world are demonstrating. Really like how the brand is encouraging everyone to challenge the status quo and inspiring them to keep moving forward.”
Currently, India is the third-largest market for the brand globally and it is optimistic of 20 percent annual growth for the next five years. For the financial year 2019-20, Timex India had reported a net loss of Rs 2 crore with a revenue of Rs 252 crore.
