Timex India partners with Unicommerce to bolster e-commerce business

Watch business Timex Group India has partnered with retail SaaS platform Unicommerce. The tie up is designed to bolster Timex India’s e-commerce business and improve buyers’ post-purchase experiences.

“Our partnership with Unicommerce is a strategic move to enhance our e-commerce capabilities and stay ahead of the curve in a highly competitive market,” said Timex Group India’s managing director Deepak Chabbra, ET Retail reported. “This will help us in our on-going journey of delighting our customers through a seamless and hassle-free shopping experience, ultimately driving customer loyalty and business growth.” 
 
The partnership will increase the efficiency of Timex’s logistics as well as its order fulfilment processes. By harnessing Unicommerce’s features, Timex India plans to achieve real time visibility and control over its online orders as well as its inventory and shipments. 

Timex India retails from its dedicated e-commerce store dedicated to the Indian market and also has a retail presence on a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms. Timex Group India was incorporated in 1988 as a joint venture between Timex Corporation USA and Tata Group business Titan Watches. 
 
Unicommerce is a cloud-based e-commerce management system, according to the business’ website. The business has worked with over 20,000 registered companies across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South Asia and currently manages over 3,000 stores and over 8,000 warehouses.
