Tiffany & Co. on Friday announced that it has entered the Chilean and Thai markets with the opening of it first stores in Santiago and Bangkok, respectively.
The 250 square meter, Santiago store is found in the city’s luxury Parque Arauco district. The store features a façade inspired by the company’s Fifth Avenue flagship store with an Atlas clock and matte grey limestone contrasted by back-lit blue panels.
The Bangkok store is a 4,000-square-foot space located at the Emporium Shopping Complex that features jewelry, bridal and private sales salons. The façade has an Art Deco-style fluting stainless steel finish, and the interior features a hand-leafed chandelier created by New York-based artist, Michelle Oka Doner. The chandelier has a floral pattern inspired by the stain glass works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, artist and designer and son of the company’s founder.
Tiffany & Co. now operates 17 stores in Central and South America including 11 in Mexico and 5 in Brazil, and it operates 79 retail locations in the Asia-Pacific region.
