The Label Life partners with online fashion firms for growth

The online fashion and lifestyle portal The Label Life has partnered with fashion e-commerce firms like Myntra, Jabong, and Gulf-based fashion portal Namshi to sell its merchandise on the online marketplaces.

With the partnership, The Label Life is looking to expand its reach to tap the tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India to boost sales and has set a sales target pf of Rs 100 crore ($14.5 million) next year.
The company had reported gross sales of Rs 50 crore for the financial year 2019. In fiscal 2018, it had reported revenue of Rs 15.5 crore on a loss of Rs 7.8 crore.
Label Life currently sells through its direct online and offline channels. The online brand has also organised a number of successful pop-up shopping events across India.
“We are looking forward to reaching millions of women across tier I and tier III cities through our partnership with Myntra and Jabong. The Label Life’s collaboration with Namshi will fulfill an existing demand for the celebrity-styled collections,” founder and CEO Preeta Sukhtankar said in a statement.
The Mumbai-based online brand was launched in early 2013 and is backed by Bollywood celebrities such as Sussanne Khan, Malaika Arora and Bipasha Basu.
