The Haat to hold multi-brand fashion fair in Kolkata this December

The Haat will return to Kolkata this month and hold a multi-brand clothing and lifestyle event at the Ice Skating Rink in Kolkata from December 13 to 15. The business-to-customer shopping fair will feature over 200 product categories this season. 

The shopping fair will have a strong focus on bridal wear for the winter wedding season, the event organisers announced on Facebook. With bridal and occasion wear, wedding jewellery, trousseau items, and accessories, the event is designed to offer brides-to-be and wedding guests alike a one-stop-shop for their needs. 
 
The event will feature 80 stalls and showcase brands from across the country. Other product categories which will feature at the three-day fair include ethnic wear, silver jewellery, home décor, accessories, skincare, handbags, sarees, footwear, and gift items among others. 

The Haat aims to promote Indian heritage crafts and up-and-coming businesses by giving makers and entrepreneurs a platform from which to reach new customers and boost sales ahead of the winter wedding season. The event is also designed to help shoppers discover new brands and product categories. 
 
Describing itself as, “East India’s biggest fashion and lifestyle exhibition,” The Haat holds multiple shopping fairs each year. The event also has a strong focus on organic products and handmade items.
