The Chanakya hosts pop-up store with charity People for Animals
On October 19, the Chanakya at New Delhi’s Diplomatic Enclave launched “I Am A Voice”, a luxury pop-up store to help the charity People for Animals that features homeware and apparel.
In time for the festive gifting season, the animal welfare charity People for Animals, under the creative direction of the Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Maneka Gandhi, has created a line of luxury homeware for Casa Paradox. The line comprises hand-blown glassware and a portion of sales will be donated to the charity to aid in a number of projects including the organisation’s 36 hospitals and animal shelters.
“PFA [People for Animals] is doing wonderful work to rehabilitate animals, treat them & find homes for them,” said Raseel Gujral Ansal as quoted on Raseel at Casa Pop’s Facebook.
“It’s an effort to come together to spend towards a worthy cause. The Festive Edit is a celebration of giving, of sharing & celebrating all that is natural & beautiful around us. These glasses will be showcased at Casa Paradox luxe by Raseel Gujral Ansal & Zooki at The Chankaya.”
The pop-up runs until October 27 and includes the hand-blown glassware as well as homeware from Casa Pop and festive clothing from Zooki, a multi-brand designer apparel store by Charu Singh. Apparel on offer will include traditional wear classics such as lehengas and sarees.
