New Delhi’s luxury mall The Chanakya held a week of festive events to promote a range of fashion and beauty brands and drive footfall in the mall this winter. As online fashion continues to grow in India, brick-and-mortar outlets are using interactive events to provide offline-only experiences.

During the Chanakya’s recent All Things Luxury Week, stylist Bhavna Singh held an ethnic wear styling masterclass featuring clothing by Ranna Gill, Anita Dongre Grassroot, and Neeru Kumar as well as jewellery by Outhouse and makeup by Nykaa Luxe. Singh taught participants how to create traditional wear looks for the current winter wedding season and shared her personal tips.

Makeup artist Ridhima Dhawan gave a makeup masterclass in the mall and did a live makeover on social media influencer Ankita Rai using Nykaa Luxe products. The workshop taught shoppers how to create a natural makeup look for the winter holidays.

The week-long event also featured a mothers’ and children’s Christmas themed workshop in partnership with the parent and child events planning business Mom Wears Prada. Noir the Salon was on hand to offer hair styling for the participating children, offering tips and giving makeovers. Fashion and lifestyle brand Good Earth also held a storytelling session at the event.

The mall is also currently running a pop-up store for the Mumbai-based multi-brand luxury fashion store Le Mill featuring international brands including Zimmerman, Balmain, and Balenciaga. The Chanakya is home to an array of Indian and international fashion brands including Diesel, Ted Baker, and Anita Dongre among others.
