The Sole Sisters launches in Paris

The Indian footwear brand The Sole Sisters has started retailing its products in Paris, France, in partnership with the multi-brand boutique Pompon Bazar.

The Sole Sisters has launched its latest handcrafted sandal collection, 'CandyLand', in Paris’ Pompon Bazar for the first time ever. The collection’s designs are simple in structure but feature rainbow-bright hues and have a youthful, fun feel. 

The Pompon Bazar boutique in the French capital specialises in clothing, accessories, and homewares that feature handmade textiles from around the world. The store also retails woven bags, rugs, cushions, baskets, and textiles. 

The Sole Sisters continues to pursue international expansion through the multi-brand retail route and is also expanding in India by working with multi-brand businesses.

The brand recently collaborated with the Indian clothing brand Jodi for a collection of sandals, which retailed on Jodi’s e-commerce site.

The Sole Sisters launched in 2011 in Mumbai. The brand’s executive team recently won the Times Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which was judged by designers Shantanu & Nikhil and Rahul Mishra. 

“We won the Times Woman Entrepreneur Award 2019 in the fashion category and we’re super stoked about it,” wrote the brand on its social media.
