Technosport eyes Rs 1000 crore sales by 2026

Homegrown sports apparel brand Technosport is eyeing sales of Rs 1,000 crore ($121 million) over the next three years after witnessing strong sales of over 12 million units of activewear garments in 2022-23.

The company plans to invest Rs 200 crore on a new fabric manufacturing factory to fuel its online and offline growth in the coming months.

Commenting on the plans, Puspen Maity, CEO of Technosport in a statement said, “We will focus on the digitization of over 5000 small and medium retailers who have contributed to Technosport's growth journey. We are working on building the e-commerce business, exclusive brand outlets, franchisee business and large format modern retail business. We aim to have over 100 exclusive brand outlets by FY 25-26.”

Sunil Jhunjhunwala, co-founder, Technosport added, “Developing technologies suitable for Indian conditions locally has enabled us to provide these products to our consumers at competitive prices. Technosport aspires to be a brand that is globally recognised and locally loved while also protecting the environment through its sustainability initiatives.”

Technosport claims to India’ largest activewear brand in terms of sales volume. The brand sells online through its website and e-commerce portals.
