Tata Cliq Luxury to expand product categories in FY24
Tata Cliq Luxury plans to expand its product categories and strengthen its assortment across sectors including fashion, beauty, home, and fitness. The business also plans to continue to bring international luxury brands to India.
“Apparel, footwear, and handbags are some of the key categories performing well on our platform,” Tata Cliq Luxury’s chief business officer Gitanjali Saxena told ET Retail in an interview. “High digital adoption for over 1 lakh luxury watches is boosting the category’s growth. The sneakers and athleisure categories are attracting new customers, and we anticipate beauty, home, and jewellery as the growth categories for the platform.”
Expanding from metro and Tier 1 cities, Tata Cliq Luxury plans to expand into Tier 2 and 3 markets. Non-metro areas are seeing increasing demand for branded fashion and luxury items in line with the rising middle class and increased penetration of e-commerce.
“We plan to continue expanding our various categories and also focus on introducing initiatives that will help elevate our luxury shopping experience further,” said Saxena. The business also recently launched 13 international brands on the platform including Baldinini, BCBG, Aspinal of London, Liu Jo, Loci, Pollini, Mulberry, and Twinset among others.
