The brand’s new store in Fort measures 4,000 square feet and retails a wide selection of kurtas, bundis, sherwanis, bandhgalas, achkans, churidars, aligarhis, and other garments, Tasva announced in a press release on December 9. The brand runs as a partnership between Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and Tarun Tahiliani.

“The city’s most loved and culturally rich area, Fort, is the perfect setting for Tasva’s 25th store and to bring modern sensibilities, rooted in tradition, to yet another destination,” said Indivinity Clothing’s chief design officer and famed couturier Tarun Tahiliani in a press release. “This also marks the completion of a year for Tasva, a full circle in many ways- starting from the culture steeped streets of Benaras and now to the hub of art and fashion in Mumbai. Within a year of Tasva’s inception, we have infused freshness into men’s Indian wear and changed the Indian male celebratory experience. I am eagerly looking forward for what’s next in our journey with Tasva!”

As well as occasion wear, the store also houses a wide selection of accessories such as safas, sarpeches, brooches, pocket squares, buttons, sehras, stoles, and shawls among others. A wide array of traditional style formal footwear also features and the store’s design is bright and modern with traditional touches to reflect the brand’s interpretation of Indian heritage for the modern man.

“Tasva’s 25th store is a special milestone for the brand,” said Tasva’s CEO Sandeep Pal. “The rapid offline expansion showcases our belief in the evolving consumer mindset and our endeavour to rethink the Indian male celebratory experience. We’re excited to be back in Mumbai to celebrate this occasion and upcoming first anniversary for the brand. The city has shown immense promise and it was only natural for us to open at Fort, the cultural and shopping hub of Mumbai. We are looking forward to engaging with consumers from across the country with many more innovations from the brand.”
