Tarun Tahiliani launches online bridal consultations

Traditional wear designer Tarun Tahiliani has launched online bridal consultations to enable shoppers looking for bridal wear and wedding solutions to browse from the safety of their homes.

Tarun Tahiliani has opened his eponymous brand’s flagship stores with new health and safety measures. As many shoppers are exercising more caution due to the continued spread of coronavirus in India, he has also created an online shopping experience for brides-to-be, he announced on Facebook.
 
“Keeping the need for social distancing in mind, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Online Bridal Consultations - where our design team alongside the store managers will present our latest collections via video chat for brides-to-be and their families, in India and worldwide,” Tahiliani announced on his brand’s Facebook page.

“The new collections ranging from couture and bridal to occasion wear have been specially arranged in our stores and the design headquarters for your online viewing, so as to recreate an in-store experience that seamlessly mimics real life.”
 
Tahiliani also recently announced that he has launched his latest collection ‘Kashida’ both online and in-store. 

“Kashida is very fine work that we’re doing around prints that we design, so you create these wonderful copper-like effects, very light, very glistening, very dull-metallic, very feminine and full of colour,” Tahiliani wrote on Facebook about his new collection.

“This collection evolved from the couture, where we try every style to the extreme and really push our boundaries. It becomes kind of like a laboratory of experiments from where we distill ideas for our ready-to-wear and other collections for the store.”
 
Tarun Tahiliani launched his eponymous brand in 1990. The brand retails from its e-commerce store and flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata and also has a presence in multi-brand boutiques in India and internationally.
