Tarun Tahiliani to hold bridal showcases in Hyderabad, Kolkata

Traditional and bridal wear designer Tarun Tahiliani will hold showcase events in Hyderabad and Kolkata this March to launch new festive collection 'Here Comes The Sun'.

From March 23 to 27, Tarun Tahiliani will hold a bridal and festive showcase in its flagship store in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, the designer announced on his eponymous brand’s Facebook page. The brand will then hold a similar bridal showcase event at its flagship store in Kolkata from March 30 to April 3. 
 
The business-to-customer showcase events are designed to give shoppers in Hyderabad and Kolkata their first chance to browse the collection and select their occasion wear ensembles for the spring festive season or any upcoming weddings. The collection has already launched at Tarun Tahiliani’s flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai. 

Here Comes The Sun was conceptualised, “after a long and bleak two years of unprecedented change,” Tahiliani wrote on Facebook. “By reimagining timeless stories in pastel blushes, lilacs, mauves, and of course our classic bridal red collection, we bring forth a burst of optimism and joy,” wrote the designer.
 
The collection launched online with a campaign starring model Jasmeet Devgan, shot by Hormis Antony Tharakan. Shoppers can also view the collection via an online consultation via WhatsApp. The brand began using WhatsApp for consultations during lockdown and is continuing to offer interactive online services due to their popularity.
