The collection was presented in collaboration with international fashion stylist, Louw Kotze. Sobhita Dhulipala walked the ramp for the designer as the showstopper.

Commenting on his showcase, Tarun Tahiliani in a statement said, I am elated to be back to Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI and bring ‘Sheer Drama’ to the runway – celebrating the spirit of women owning their true self being #UnapologeticallyMÉ. The collection is all about the drape, which is rooted firmly in the Indian identity. As it evolves into a more global instrument of sculpting fashion narratives, I now try through the structured drape, to preserve our heritage on a more cerebral level.”

Commenting on the show, Daniel Bauer added, “The showcase went above and beyond in creating a thrilling and immersive experience for the audience. In sync with the collection were looks created with a flawless dewy base and a pop of colour to accentuate the lips.”

Lakme Fashion Week was organised in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) at the Jio Gardens in the city of Mumbai from March 9 to 12.
