Tara Sutaria named brand ambassador for Label Ritu Kumar

Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria has been named as the face for designer Ritu Kumar’s pret line ‘Label Ritu Kumar’ for their new Spring Summer 19 collection, Native Spirit.
 

Ritu Kumar had earlier associated with the actress last year for its Fall/Winter 2018/2019 advertising campaign.
 
The new collection was launched with a fashion show recently in Mumbai with Tara walking the ramp as the showstopper.

Speaking about the association with Tara for another season, Amrish Kumar, CEO, Ritu Kumar in a statement said, “Tara epitomizes the free-spirited and stylish Label girl. Our new collection caters to young women who know what they want, who understand trends but are not slavish to them. Tara is the new age bohemian and we love her spin on fashion and style.”
 
“The Native Spirit collection draws inspiration from imagery and art. The brand finds itself to be drawn towards long flowy dresses, paisley motifs, geometrical prints,” he added.
 
The new collection will be available across India and internationally in Label Ritu Kumar stores and their online store.
 
Ritu Kumar has been running her eponymous label for over 40 years and specialises in bridal and traditional wear. It currently has 14 flagship stores across India as well as an e-commerce store.
