Talking Threads opens flagship store in New Delhi

Couture brand Talking Threads has opened a flagship store in Mehrauli, New Delhi. The new store houses the brand’s full collection of wedding and occasion wear with customisable options for clients. 

The new Talking Threads store is located on Kalka Das Marg in Mehrauli’s Seth Sarai and features a brick façade with a glass archway offering a peek into the spacious store, the brand announced in a press release on February 22. The brand’s name is illuminated in gold light outside the store and this warm lighting is continued in the interior, which features a striped stone floor and high ceilings. 
 
The store houses Talking Threads’ three clothing lines: bridal and wedding couture, future heirloom pieces, and evening couture for both men and women. “Our raison d'être is to make the artisanal craftsmanship relevant to the modern consumer, to appeal to the discerning minds that seek timeless elegance and beauty in the details, and, to democratise bridal couture by making high quality sophisticated glamour accessible to every discerning bride and groom,” announced the brand in a press release. 

Talking Threads launched in 2014 and retails from its dedicated e-commerce store which serves both Indian and international clients. The brand’s creative leadership is run by Pearl Uppal and its design aim is to unite tradition with modernity.
