The company will open two stores in the Netherlands, one in Rotterdam and one in Eindhoven. Both the new stores will be located at the heart of popular shopping centres, and the retailer estimates the openings will create around 100 new jobs in Holland.

TK Maxx in the Netherlands will offer men's and women's fashion, lingerie, accessories, luggage and beauty, as well as homewares, soft furnishings and even pet accessories.

Commenting on the launch in the Netherlands, Deborah Dolce, Group Brand and Marketing Director, said: “The Dutch are smart shoppers with a keen eye for quality and love for a bargain so we think that they will enjoy shopping our special combination of fashion, brands, quality and value. The experience and layout are quite different from a traditional store. When visiting TK Maxx, it’s time to cast the traditional shopping rule book aside and visit with an open mind. Shoppers navigate by department, category and size and everything is gathered under one roof. We are well prepared and very excited about our future here.”

TK Maxx already has more than 400 stores across the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Poland and Austria.
