Monki taps Susie Bubble for autumn campaign

Fashion writer and blogger Susie Bubble has once again teamed up with Swedish fashion brand Monki. Having first worked with the brand back in 2011, Bubble is back as its autumn ad campaign model this year.
Monki describes Bubble as "a true Monki original...someone who is brave, paves her own way, pursues her own dreams and definitely, picks fun over boring." Bubble says: "I love the spirit of Monki. It allows people’s individuality to come out, and that’s a great thing to encourage."
The campaign that Bubble stars in is for the H&M-owned brand's Monki Original denim collection, which revisits its design heritage, a mix of Scandinavian and Asian styles. It features wide trousers, kimono-inspired detailing and oversized tops.
“We’ve taken inspiration from Asian street style, in particular Japan’s rich history of indigo denim,” says Martin Gustavsson, Collection Manager and Concept Designer of Monki Denim. “Focusing on using untreated denims to create unique pieces, not just jeans, that will take on their own ‘indigo- life’ as and you wash and wear them.”
The collection is in Monki stores now.
