The direct-to-customer business plans to use its new funds to expand its product selection into categories including body care products, the business said in a statement, TVW News reported. Svish will also put the investment towards ameliorating its research and development portfolio and expanding its presence in retail outlets across India.

“Our new business development will primarily focus on launching new products as we are all set to introduce 40 new offerings in different categories including personal hygiene and body care,” said Svish CEO and co-founder Ishan Grover in a statement, TVW News reported.

The brand is expanding its distribution network and recently partnered with multi-brand retailers BigBasket and Spencer’s. Svish added a range of its products to select stores in locations including Delhi and Kolkata for Spencer’s and Mumbai for BigBasket, the business announced on Facebook.

To date, Svish has sold products to 30,000 people, according to Grover. The business has been self-funded since November 2020 and began with Rs 1.4 crore of the founders’ personal savings. In its less than 10 months of operation, the business announced that it has generated around Rs 1 crore in revenue.
