Superkicks teams up with Sneaker Lab for joint launch

Indian multi-brand sneaker retailer Superkicks has partnered with South African sneaker care brand Sneaker Lab to launch a sneaker cleaning product which is sustainably made and designed to extend the life of sneakers. 

The new Superkicks x Sneaker Lab cleaning wipes launched on June 5 on Superkicks’ dedicated e-commerce store as well as in its brick-and-mortar stores, Superkicks announced in a press release. The wipes are designed to be small enough to be taken anywhere and suitable to use on most materials including suede, nubuck, leather, and canvas, according to the brand. The wipes are also made with biodegradable formulations and use recyclable packaging. 

“The sneaker culture in India is growing fast, especially among Gen Z and millennials who are always ready to buy with great frequency,” Superkicks founder Sangeet Paryani said in a press release. “It’s also the influence of Instagram and the urgent need to express through fashion and street style that’s contributing to this thriving market.”

Sangeet Paryani launched Superkicks in 2018 and currently has stores in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru as well as its latest launch in Guwahati. In 2022, Superkicks plans to expand its product categories to introduce streetwear and bring more international brands to India.
