Superkicks launches Superplastic in India

Multi-brand sneaker retailer Superkicks has launched a collection of art collectibles by global entertainment, collectibles, and apparel business Superplastic for the first time in India.

Superkicks launched, “Superplastic exclusively for the first time in India as the sole retailer,” Superkicks announced in a press release on July 19. “The extremely limited collectibles have been launched at the latest Superkicks New Delhi store in multiple designs and variations.” 
 
The collection of luxury figurines includes Superplastic’s flagship pieces such as ‘Guggimon’ and ‘Janky’ as well as collaborative collectibles made in partnership with music artists including Gorillaz and Rico Nasty. The business’ characters Janky and Guggimon, Dayzee & Staxx, Kranky, and ShüDog are ‘animated celebrities’ and have millions of dedicated followers on social media.

Items in the Superplastic collection are priced from Rs 1,649 to Rs 19,990. “Most drops sell out in minutes, and many go up in value in aftermarket sales,” Superkicks announced in a press release. 
 
Superkicks has launched the Superplastic line in its brick-and-mortar store in New Delhi as well as on its dedicated e-commerce store. Superkicks opened its largest store to date earlier this July in New Delhi’s Vasant Vihar district. The store retails a wide range of sneakers, apparel, and now Superplastic collectibles.
