Superdry has strengthened its presence in the North of India by opening its second store in Ludhiana - Superdry

Superdry has added a second store in Ludhiana in MBD Neopolis Mall which joins its store in the city’s Pavilion Mall, Times International News Service reported. The brand has no plans to slow down its brick-and-mortar expansion across India and plans to open 10 more stores by the end of the year.

“We are very excited to open our second store in Ludhiana after the colossal success of our first store at Pavillion Mall,” Superdry’s India business head, Manu Sharma, told TNS. “We hope to get the same excitement as we see across our stores in India.”

Superdry, which first launched in India in 2012, also recently launched a dedicated e-commerce store for India. "We expect seven to 10% of our top line sales in the coming year to come from the site,” said Sharma. “The key drivers will be our best-selling products such as t-shirts and shirts."

Superdry retails a range of men’s and women’s casual wear such as outerwear, denim, and t-shirts. The Superdry brand was founded in 2003 in Cheltenham and it opened its first store in London that year. The brand retails in 46 countries and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
