Sunny Leone announces she will launch a makeup collection

Sunny Leone has announced she will create a line of cosmetics after the success of her unisex perfume launch.

The actor and model is in the process of finalising her cosmetics line that will follow the perfume she launched around a year ago for both men and women, called Lust. The perfume was launched as part of a business plan made by Leone and her husband Daniel Weber that would see her expand from acting and into the beauty market and her new cosmetics venture will further cement her place in the industry.  

Leone’s make up line will  be vegan, in line with the current trend of more and more cosmetic companies becoming cruelty free. The line will start with the launch of a lip kit that will include lipsticks, glosses, and liners. About her first scheduled product, Leone said: “These are products that I personally love and would use. It took us a long time to come up with the right formula, but I wanted to ensure I got what I wanted. And, the wait has been worth it—the texture, feel and even the pigments are just right.”

Leone’s cosmetic line has yet to be formally named but the shades of lip colours have been announced as reds, browns, and peach tones. Following the launch of Leone’s lip kits, mascaras, eyeliners, and highlighters will follow. Leone also plans to make videos showing how to use her products.
