Summer Somewhere and Kira collaborate on jewellery line
Clothing brand Summer Somewhere has collaborated with accessory brand Kira to launch a collection of women’s jewellery made from 80% recycled materials.
The collaborative collection launched on Summer Sometime’s e-commerce store and features heart shaped pearls hanging from delicate gold chains, stackable statement rings, golden sea shells, and bold earrings. The dyes and pearls used in the jewellery are also 100% natural as part of both brands’ commitment to sustainability, the brand announced in a press release.
“At Summer Somewhere, we are on a constant lookout for instilling a vacation vibe into our creations and this collaboration is an extension of this very idea,” said Summer Somewhere’s founder Meghna Goyal in a press release.
“I instantly knew that Kira’s accessories are a perfect fit with our styles and together, they bring forth the happy and carefree spirit of summer!”
The collection also marks the launch of the Summer Somewhere initiative with the ReCircle. For every order placed, the brand will recover 1kg of waste plastic from the environment in collaboration with the environmental organisation.
“Kira is all about experimenting with a variety of styles to create unique and innovative designs for the wearer,” said Kira’s founder Swati Khatuwala.
“This collaboration with Summer Somewhere was all about moulding our travel experiences into our creations, which are a perfect union of the synergy between our brands.”
