Stage3 partners with designer Rhea Kapoor

Fashion retail and styling platform Stage3 has partnered with designer Rhea Kapoor to boost rentals for its designer outfits and accessories on the platform.

Rhea Kapoor will be the style director for Stage3 helping it promote rentals as a major driver of sustainability, especially among the millennials.

Kapoor has curated 45 pieces for the upcoming wedding season from India’s leading designers such as Abu Sandeep, Raw Mango, Arpita Mehta, Jayanti Reddy and Anushree Reddy amongst others which will be on rent exclusively on Stage3.

Commenting on the association, Sanchit Baweja co-founder at Stage3 in a statement said, “Team Stage3 is thrilled to have Rhea Kapoor on board with us. Her influence will be instrumental in introducing the Indian fashion market to stylized fashion rental as the glamorous fashion-forward and sustainable way to dress up.”

Kapoor added, “The clothes we wear are the best reflection of what we are on the inside, projected out front. Curating this collection was beyond fun, and I am looking forward to working with Stage3 on some really exciting projects in the months to come.”

Kapoor, who co-owns the fashion retail brand Rheson with her sister and Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor will also be part of a creative campaign that aims at engaging audiences through a series of videos and posts.

Stage3 had recently raised $2 million (Rs 13.3 crore) in a pre-series A funding round to fuel its offline expansion plans.
