After announcing the brand’s plans to launch 1,000 Ayurvedic retail stores in August of last year, Sri Sri Tattva has disclosed further details of their Indian retail expansion plan. Still aiming to hit 1,000 retail outlets, the time frame has been set as for 2018 and the brand will also concentrate on further international expansion.

"We've tied up with Franchise India,” said Arvind Varchaswi, the brand’s Managing Director, “and will launch 1,000 odd stores in the next one year and have set a target of clocking Rs 500 crore revenue from this." In the e-commerce market, the brand announced on January 18 that they have tied up with Big Basket and they will be selling a range of their product selection, including 44 products from their personal care range, on the site.

At the India Food Forum, Varchaswi announced that, for the brand’s retail expansion, three different store formats will be launched: Sri Sri Tattva Mart, Sri Sri Tattva Wellness Place, and Sri Sri Tattva Home and Health, which will carry its range of skincare and beauty products. With a current retail presence in 33 countries, the brand will also focus on Latin America, West Asia, the Far East, Russia, and Eastern Europe in 2018. This year promises to be a big one for the Ayurvedic brand and, as natural products are increasing both in India and internationally, the stage looks set for success.
